In your early years, if your parents or caregivers instilled in you an "I can do it" attitude, your work at this level may be minimal. You are confident, with a strong sense of purpose and/or a mission in life. You take responsibility for your actions and you exercise your personal power in a fair, ethical, and loving way. You are self-directed, self-confident, and self-empowered. If on the other hand, your younger years were filled with negative feedback or a lack of support in an unloving or unsafe environment, your 3rd Chakra may be over inflated or underdeveloped.

An overactive 3rd Chakra may manifest as constant rage, perfectionism, an inordinate need to be in control, or an inability to slow down. You are in the laser lane, you could be a workaholic, and you may be overly domineering in your relationships. You might be plagued with stomach ulcers or excessive weight around your middle.

A deficient 3rd Chakra is reflected as timid behavior, lack of self-confidence, neediness in relationships, fear of being alone, low energy, or chronic tiredness. There may be an addiction to stimulating substances or you may find yourself acting in a subservient manner in your relationships. Digestive problems may also be present in your life.

A strong 3rd Chakra is vital to your success in ascending to the top of the Chakramid. It is the catalyst for all forward moving endeavors. It's the fire in your belly that produces the power in your life.
